Badshahi Masjid is one of the most mystic buildings of Lahore, and one can find as much beautiful shots from it. Since the Mughal Era, this building was ignored by the heritage department and was not kept in shape and is loosing its identity. There were days when Badshahi Masjid was assumed to be a sacred place to offer prayer but now only foreigners come to see it for studying history. Visiting this landmark is an eye opening; people have misused and defaced its historical wall paintings. Due to careless behavior of visitors, most of the building is closed for public and areas which are open are behind cages and barb wires.
