Ichra, Lahore After Rain

This image is an example of horrific conditions of streets after rain in Ichra, Lahore. Sewerage and drainage systems are obsolete and negligence of LDA and inattention of local government body is making lives of the people pathetic.

Although, people of Lahore enjoy rainy season but it also brings some sufferings for most of the regions of Lahore City. Like;

• Electrical short circuits and shocks
• Wakening of structural foundations due to prolonged exposure to water
• Crawling insects, snakes
• Diseases
